How is Global Meals different from other meal providers?

Our goal at Global Meals is to provide you with independence by serving healthy, nutritious meals that not only meet your dietary needs but also taste amazing! We are always searching the globe for foods that provide variety, flavor and ease of preparation.

Our Comfort Meals are designed by a licensed dietitian and created by executive chefs — made fresh, using the best ingredients, then flash frozen to lock in flavor. Several of our menus include Organic and All Natural meals! Also available are Modified Diet menus: low sodium, gluten free, dairy free, vegan or vegetarian.

We also provide an extensive Kosher menu and several specialty menus that can be added to your plan such as: Deli Café, Breakfast, Soups, European Favorites, Oriental Delights, and International Fare. We want you to have nutritious meals that taste delicious and provide lots of variety!

What day and time is my delivery?

Your case manager will give you your date, but it also depends on your physical address. The first time we deliver to you it will be between 9am and 5pm. After the first delivery you will know your time within 60-90 minutes depending on weather or road conditions. If there is a problem where we can’t deliver your meals at that time, we will call to arrange an alternate time.

How many meals will I receive?

Your case manager authorizes the amount of meals you receive, usually between 7and 21 meals per week, according to your plan.

Can I choose from the menus?

YES! You choose which weeks will be included in your MENU PLAN. We encourage you to try one of our Meal Bundles for a full 5-6 week rotation to taste a variety of meals before making any adjustments. We are happy to create a customized meal plan just for you!

If I am not home, in the hospital or out of town, can someone else accept the meals for me?

If you are receiving meals through a funded source, according to their rules, no one else is allowed to accept your meals for you. If you will be hospitalized or out of town, you should contact our office to cancel your meals.

What if I can't be at home at the time of delivery?

Please call or email our office and we will do our best to arrange an alternate date/time for your delivery.
